A photography instructor once said you can’t break the rules until you learn them and that’s just what happened with my landscapes. Instead of using a tripod to secure the landscape’s sharp focus and crisp lines, I have moved the camera in my hands and created a soft focus where colors and shapes move around the frame. It reminds me of life. Sometimes the rules are clear and sometimes I can’t help but make small creative adjustments. It is in art where I feel free to use the creative process to explore new ways of seeing.
